Airbus Secures A350F Order with Korean Air

Airbus has gained a new customer for its next-generation freighter as Korean Air converted its order for seven A350-1000 passenger aircraft into the A350F model. With this decision, the South Korean carrier becomes the latest operator to add the Airbus A350F to its fleet.

Benoît de Saint-Exupéry, Airbus Vice President of Sales, stated:

“Korean Air is one of the world’s largest cargo operators. Its decision to include the A350F in its fleet is a strong endorsement of the aircraft’s exceptional capabilities.”

The A350F, capable of carrying up to 111 tons of payload and flying a range of 8,700 kilometers, is 46 tons lighter than its closest competitors thanks to its advanced composite materials. It also stands as the only freighter aircraft compliant with ICAO’s new CO₂ emissions standards, which will take effect in 2027.
